readergirlz is a literacy and social media project for teens, awarded the National Book Foundation's Innovations in Reading Prize. The rgz blog serves as a depot for news and YA reviews from industry professionals and teens. Jumped, a new book from Rita Williams-Garcia

Our February featured author, Rita Williams-Garcia, gave an inspired interview to Cynthia Leitich Smith this week, and also shared this book trailer for her new title, Jumped.



Her inspiration? "The rise of girl-on-girl violence."
