readergirlz is a literacy and social media project for teens, awarded the National Book Foundation's Innovations in Reading Prize. The rgz blog serves as a depot for news and YA reviews from industry professionals and teens. Bloomsbury Makes Good


Way to go, Bloomsbury! Here's a note from PW:

“Bloomsbury is ceasing to supply copies of the US edition of Magic Under Glass. The jacket design has caused offense and we apologize for our mistake. Copies of the book with a new jacket design will be available shortly.”

Good for them - and hopefully publishers will get the message that these things really do matter to the reading public!

Good to hear. Next step - not publishing a cover that is not true to the character's identity in the first place. But I'm glad to hear they are listening and hopefully learning.
