readergirlz is a literacy and social media project for teens, awarded the National Book Foundation's Innovations in Reading Prize. The rgz blog serves as a depot for news and YA reviews from industry professionals and teens. Red Glass

Latina Month fires
piercing light through pure red glass,
to emblazon souls.

Ooooh... love the haiku! Now you've inspired me to try this form! I sometimes write read and write poetry to get my creative juices flowing before I delve into writing more of my novel-in-progress. (As Red Glass readers can guess, I love e.e. cummings and Pablo Neruda...)
