readergirlz is a literacy and social media project for teens, awarded the National Book Foundation's Innovations in Reading Prize. The rgz blog serves as a depot for news and YA reviews from industry professionals and teens. As volunteers return full force to their own YA writing, the organization continues to hold one initiative a year to impact teen literacy. All are welcome to "like" us on Facebook!

Happy Wedding Day!
One of our readergirlz postergirlz, blogger and rock star YA librarian Jackie Parker, is getting married today! So from all of us at readergirlz...
It was lovely! My favorite part? How everyone was wearing such bright and beautiful dresses (and not just the wedding party). It was like a flower garden.
Lovely couple! We also got married in the last year at one of the prettiest beachside Seattle Wedding venues. Our first anniversary is also coming and we would love to celebrate the day with all our loved ones so planning a grand party for the day. If you have some party ideas, please share here.
