TRW Tribute: Erika Stalder 8:45

I love that--especially in our "reality"-driven world of entertainment-- this year's "Read Beyond Reality" TRW theme reminds us of the beauty of fantasy. We are fully permitted to slip into a character's shoes, life or love affair when we read great stories--and we aren't left with that the icky voyeuristic feeling we get when seeing the world through the ever-evading lenses of the paparazzi or in-home cameras.

In the Driver's Seat, Erika Stalder

Good point about reading vs. reality TV, Erica! Reading feels very social and yet wholly individual at the same time!
