readergirlz is a literacy and social media project for teens, awarded the National Book Foundation's Innovations in Reading Prize. The rgz blog serves as a depot for news and YA reviews from industry professionals and teens. As volunteers return full force to their own YA writing, the organization continues to hold one initiative a year to impact teen literacy. All are welcome to "like" us on Facebook!

Contests and Challenges: A Reminder

Just a quick note about all the ways you can win prizes (and enter our Author in Residence Challenge) this month!

1. There's one more week to enter Author in Residence Beth Kephart's latest challenge ("The Story Song"). Beth recently added more to her description of the challenge on the HarperTeen blog. Send your entries in by October 25th.
