I'm a big fan of the secret passageways.

And in real life, the Biltmore in Asheville, NC has always been a favorite!

I second the secret passageways.

I like tower rooms. Also, I've always wanted a reading spot by a window...and I've always wanted secret passageways, and spiral staircases, for that matter.

I'd have to say the libraries. Older libraries are so much fun to look through. Either that, or the secret passageways :)

I like the dining halls in books. Everyone is usually on scene.

I'm partial to Swiss castles. :~)
