Compassion & Converse

While discussing this month's theme, Compassion, with three readergirlz, we realized that their outfits had a common theme: Converse sneakers. Say hi to Natalie, Tate, and Arielle -- at least, say hi to their shoes.

Arielle was previously seen in last week's rgz vlog. She was also one of the readergirlz (and boys) who finally met John Green and David Levithan in person this past summer, an event which was captured on video - and then the footage was lost. (Woe!) The point is, Arielle wanted to have the authors sign her Converse sneakers, but such a thing wasn't permitted. Maybe next time...

Love! Also that their colors went together so well. LW, I forgive you, but you should really get some Chucks.

Love Chucks. They don't work on me because I have such fallen arches, believe it or not. I have Chuck-envy.

Melissa: They aren't affordable. I have one pair of black-and-white sneakers and one pair of blue-not-navy-and-white sneakers in this style. Each pair cost about $5 a decade ago. Each pair now has worn-out sole spots, which means I can't wear them regularly or outside at all - only for auditions or whatnot when need be!

And what size shoe do you wear, LW?

Here's to Chucks! And authors signing them!

Lorie Ann: Depends on the shoe. My feet are small but wide.
