readergirlz is a literacy and social media project for teens, awarded the National Book Foundation's Innovations in Reading Prize. The rgz blog serves as a depot for news and YA reviews from industry professionals and teens. Oh my goodness, there are so many. I'm going to say the 1920s and 1930s, then the 1940s and 1950s.

At my wedding I wore a 1930s gown for the ceremony and a 1950s prom dress for the reception--those are my two favorites (although the 1930s gown was originally a nightgown, so...).

Victorian. I was born for lace and the ornate. No corsets though please.

It's the 1920s for me. I have a tuxedo from that era, and it's much more awesome (and more comfortable) than my modern one.

Of course, that's boys. For women's fashion, I think the 50s is probably better.

They all have their perks and downfalls. I'd have to go with the funky 80's. Bright and funky and fabulous. Good stuff.
