readergirlz is a literacy and social media project for teens, awarded the National Book Foundation's Innovations in Reading Prize. The rgz blog serves as a depot for news and YA reviews from industry professionals and teens. As volunteers return full force to their own YA writing, the organization continues to hold one initiative a year to impact teen literacy. All are welcome to "like" us on Facebook!

Get a Kit to Make a Readergirlz Bookmark!

Ooh, do we have an exciting project! Watch this video of Jen Funk Weber and find out how you can get involved with Stitching for Literacy and make a Readergirlz bookmark of your own (maybe to put in the book you'll drop for Operation Teen Book Drop?).

Remember, request your kit by March 15 by emailing readergirlz AT gmail DOT com. And here are instructions on how to create your bookmark.

Have fun, readergirlz!
