April: Do You Give Away Moments?

Featured author Deb Caletti says, "Elizabeth Bennett says, 'We should not give away a moment to anyone who does not deserve it.' Do you agree? Have you ever given away moments?"

Oh yes. But I was there, too, so it can be my moment to keep. At least, that's my hopeful spin.
I think I give away way too many moments sometimes :) I'm too nice,a total pushover, I just can't say "NO". But sometimes, just sometimes, I give away moments that, when you look back, you just smile and think, "Yes. That was worth it."
I try to include people in big moments, if that makes sense.
I'm trying to be in my moments. I do understand the quote completely though!
I think we all have, and while we can't get them back, we realize in hindsight, the value of each moment. So in the future, we can give them to the important people :)
I like what Melissa said; I'd like to second that. :)
The people who "do not deserve" our moments are the ones who most need them. How can we measure our effect? And, as Melissa says, we are there, too, so the moment is ours as soon as we give it, and later, when we think about it.
