readergirlz is a literacy and social media project for teens, awarded the National Book Foundation's Innovations in Reading Prize. The rgz blog serves as a depot for news and YA reviews from industry professionals and teens. As volunteers return full force to their own YA writing, the organization continues to hold one initiative a year to impact teen literacy. All are welcome to "like" us on Facebook!

Cynthia Leitich Smith and Joseph Bruchac on rgz LIVE! Thursday
"Be there or be square," they say. Well, I *am* a square (and proud of it!) and I can't be there because, once again, I'll be singing while you are chatting, but I'll be promoting the event like crazy. :)

I'll be on a flight back to NYC during the chat, but I'll be there in (Native American) spirit!
Word just in from Joseph Bruchac that he's had complications and can't make it tonight. We will miss him but look forward to hanging with Cynthia!
