readergirlz is a literacy and social media project for teens, awarded the National Book Foundation's Innovations in Reading Prize. The rgz blog serves as a depot for news and YA reviews from industry professionals and teens. Because I'm learning along the way, right? I'm piecing together the puzzle that is me! And then helping others.
Yes I agree but you don't remember all of your history. Some of it is remembered by your parents, your friends and even people you pass on the street. By interacting with other people, by sharing a little of yourself and your history with them they too learning more about themselves. It it a path of self discovery on both sides, on may sides.
Besides, everyone remembers moments in time differently and that is why there is no one truth!
Our history is our past and the connection to our future. All who have gone before us left us something--some good, some not so good. We hope we don't make the same mistakes, and hope we can leave a bright and solid path for those who will come after us.
