readergirlz is a literacy and social media project for teens, awarded the National Book Foundation's Innovations in Reading Prize. The rgz blog serves as a depot for news and YA reviews from industry professionals and teens. As volunteers return full force to their own YA writing, the organization continues to hold one initiative a year to impact teen literacy. All are welcome to "like" us on Facebook!

September: Lola's choice
Maureen says, "Lola makes a very big decision at the end of Scarlett Fever. Do you think this was a good or bad move?"

I have this feel about Lola, like she knows herself really well. I actually think her decision might work out, in the end. She just has to let go of caring about what others think of her, and she will... Chip is a good guy.
