Is this not the cutest video from Mika? Which reminds me, that I'm looking for the ultimate songs to represent rgz. Can you give me suggestions in the comments? This will be for our everlasting rgz playlist. Well, at least one that represents for awhile. :~) So what do you suggest? Sing it out! (It has to be supported at playlist.com, btw. Thanks!)
And let's hear it for the Big Girls! Woot!

I always love suggesting more 'indie' songs that less people have heard of so I'll suggest these. Maybe they're your cup of tea, maybe not. Hopefully they are . . .
- Lazarus by Porcupine Tree
- Prevent this Tragedy by Alkaline Trio
- Salt & Foam by The Dimes
- The Man Who Lost His Soul by Until June
- Into the Fire by Thirteen Senses
& - Sink or Swim by Tyrone Wells
Definitely include the songs we've had in our videos and trailers!
"Frontload" by Freezepop
"Marching Orders" by Andrea Wittgens
"Ring of Fire" cover by Universal Hall Pass
"Gepetto Cut the Strings" by Lindsay Rush
Fantastic, ladies! Can't wait to check these all out, Rachel!
Try Rock What You Got and So Beautiful by Superchick. Great girl songs!
Ooh, Mika continues to impress me.
Let's see, I tend to be angsty with music, but what about September Girls by BIG STAR? Love that song.
I agree with Holly's vote for songs we've included in the past....some songs that always remind me of readergirlz are Video by India Arie and Rainbow Connection and Still Fighting It by Ben Folds.
Thank you!
And, Miss Erin, those are my songs. :~)Thanks for remembering.
thought of a couple more - Books Written For Girls by Camera Obscura and 32 Flavors by Ani DiFranco
Lorie Ann gets music recommendations from me a few times a month - or even a few times a week! :)
Blame It on the Beat by Ashley Tisdale includes the lyric, "I'm the postergirl for self-control." 32 Flavors (as Erin mentioned, and as we've used in playlists before) also uses the term "postergirl." :)
Thank you!
