First, I want to say READ Leviathan. It's so good!

Then this: I am thrilled to be on this list. Anyone who wants to read an excerpt the trilogy books can find them here: http://kathleenduey.com/

Then this: The trilogy is two stories, set in the same city, 200 years apart. The first story causes the second one. By the end of the third book (it's in progress now) about 200 years will have passed in the first story, and about nine will have passed in the second one. It is a dark fantasy with Steam Punk elements.

And finally: I went to DragonCon last year (I will be there again this year)and the steam punk costumes just knocked me over. I stopped a young man and asked him what got him into it. He said, "It's the whole Jules Verne era, that time when more was unknown than known."
Wow. My next book will be even steamier punk, I think!
