August: Fathers
Kendra's father Kenny has strengths and weaknesses as a father. What traits are most important to you in a father?

I think fathers should love mothers. It shows a kid how to grow up and find the real thing.
Good point, Melissa!
I also think fathers should be MEN. So many fathers are like boys themselves. But a real father should understand what sacrifice and commitment is all about. They should be willing to put their children's needs above their own. Actually I don't think anyone should become a parent until they're ready to do that!
A father who is present, models love for his wife, nurtures his children, and provides for them.
Those are my tops, I suppose!
