Little Willow's Book Bag

Hi everyone! I'm Little Willow. I'm an actress, singer, dancer, bookseller, book reviewer, blogger, freelance journalist, and webdesigner, among other things. I update the readergirlz website regularly and I head up the postergirlz, our fantastic teen lit advisory committee.

I am a voracious reader interested in many different kinds of books. I am a rapid reader, typically devouring a book a day. I post the best of what I've read every week at the readergirlz MySpace - and now I'll be posting it here at the readergirlz blogspot as well!

This week, I enjoyed Long May She Reign by Ellen Emerson White, our spotlighted title for November. My other picks include:

Picture Book for All Ages
Uncle Bobby's Wedding by Sarah S. Brannen
Yellowbelly and Plum Go to School by Nathan Hale

For Your Younger Sister
How to Be a Girly Girl in Just Ten Days by Lisa Papademetriou

Look for Little Willow's Book Bag here at readergirlz every weekend.

Yay LW!

Great picks. It made me glad to see Uncle Bobby's Wedding on there. :)

Courtney: That book is fantastic because the gender of the spouses is never an issue - It's just about a little girl who wants attention from her favorite uncle.

Linda: Thanks! So many books, so little time...
