October: What role does religion play in disasters?












Laini says, "In Spicy Little Curses, James considers the role that God plays in disasters, and not preventing them. How does religion deal with this issue? How do you deal with it? "

Oooo. Everyone is silent on the religion question. Interesting. I believe in a sovereign God, so disasters are in his control for his purpose. Even when we can't see the sense of them or understand.

I really don't know what I think about religion at this point in my life. I'm a science girl in terms of disasters, though, so I don't blame anything spiritual when disasters occur.
