Okay, so I did play prank war in the first couple of years out of college with my college friends. It was a LOT of fun until the big one:
My friend K went into my friend C's apartment (with the extra key I had) and she moved his furniture all around to confuse him. When he got home after a few drinks, he freaked out and tripped over a couch, breaking some prized statue he had. Then he called the police and told them he'd been robbed.
That one went too far and effectively ended Prank Wars. For now.
I have never been much of a prankster before, but last summer during filming for The Mooring it was either prank or be pranked. One time (out of many) one of the girls, Jessica, put in her fake scary-contacts in only one eye, the type that make your eye look super-freakish. She started to fake-cry and I rushed into the hallway of the motel where Anna was talking on the phone and started saying, "oh my gosh, Jess hurt her eye, I don't know what to do, it looks really bad," etc. Anna told the person on the phone she had to go and she was like "what happened, let me see," and Jess showed her her eye and you should've seen Anna's face. Oh my word. It took her a few minutes to get that it was fake, heheheh.
I don't prank.
I was dating a prankster for quite awhile! The best one he ever got me with was when I was eating dinner with a group of friends in a restaurant, after I had canceled on him, and he saran wrapped my car! It took FOREVER to get it off cause he had looped it thru the inside, under the hood, and the trunk! It was sticky and took forever to get off! But it was hilarious :)
Prankster? No.
Anonymous surpriser? Yes. I love to play Secret Santa, especially in months other than December. Is that at all the same?
Bleh. I really am a goody-two-shoes.
What a fun variety of response.
I don't prank because I'm afraid of being pranked! But...someone that used to work with my husband came in and found his glass cubicle office filled with water. Eek!
To be a prankster takes boldness, ingeunuity, and a keen sense of humor. I have the latter.
