    Oh my goodness, there are so many. I'm going to say the 1920s and 1930s, then the 1940s and 1950s.

    At my wedding I wore a 1930s gown for the ceremony and a 1950s prom dress for the reception--those are my two favorites (although the 1930s gown was originally a nightgown, so...).

    It's the 1920s for me. I have a tuxedo from that era, and it's much more awesome (and more comfortable) than my modern one.

    Of course, that's boys. For women's fashion, I think the 50s is probably better.
