The pictures and costumes look awesome!! I didn't know they were making a new Alice in Wonderland film so I'm super excited now!! Thanks for the neat photos!
I can't believe you tagged this with my (user)name. Oh, I am cracking up now. Thank you for making me smile.
I am wary of this film, as I am with any and all Alice adaptations, be they film, print, stage, or whathaveyou. I know this film is changing the plot significantly, what with the alteration of Alice's age and impetus (she's older and fleeing from the announcement of a marriage proposal - when I found that out, I blurted out, "Excuse me?!"), the combination of both books, and the addition of new characters. Sigh.
Nevertheless, I do wish I were in the film!
. . . and to anyone reading this post: Do yourself a favor and watch the 1972 live-action musical adaptation of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, with music by John Barry and lyrics by Don Black (the majority of which came straight from the original books), starring Fiona Fullerton as Alice. This is my favorite film version of Alice, hands-down.
