Chemistry gets a bad name (precisely because of the trouble it gets us into when there's a lot of chemistry and not much else). But, without it? As Grandma in the book says, "It's like kissing some relative." I think I may have misquoted myself, ha. Can't quite remember. Point being, I think chemistry is essential balanced with the other necessary and fine qualities...Debhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07853252211631260039noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2632611338168133022.post-73131801275114813262010-04-07T12:15:07.338-07:002010-04-07T12:15:07.338-07:00What is chemistry? I believe that love is something developed over time, but if you both (or even just one) had an instant attraction, that can make it more fun.Enna Isileehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15060181766305720582noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2632611338168133022.post-25975260401090755272010-04-07T10:06:00.704-07:002010-04-07T10:06:00.704-07:00I think chemistry is that instant-attraction, that...I think chemistry is that instant-attraction, that feeling you get when you suddenly have a crush on a specific person, sometimes for no particularly logical reason. So yes, it's super important to have that. If you're not attracted to someone you probably won't be happy being with them.

I'm also going to agree with Shelf Elf, though--just because you DO have that attraction, doesn't mean you should necessarily pursue the relationship.Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15192628745431017199noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2632611338168133022.post-4926134462587976562010-04-07T02:46:17.484-07:002010-04-07T02:46:17.484-07:00Chemistry can be dangerous too. I have a friend who keeps going on and on about her chemistry with this guy who is otherwise selfish and mean, but it's the "chemistry" that keeps pulling her back.

Just because there's chemistry doesn't make it right.
